Weather and Conference Attire in Indianapolis
The average high temperature in June is 83 degrees and the low is 64 degrees. Indianapolis can be very humid, therefore, making it feel a lot warmer in the summer. They do have the typical summer thunderstorm, so come prepared for warm days and occasional rainy weather. When packing, make sure you follow the dress code outlined in your participant commitment form. In addition to regular summer shorts and t-shirts, we suggest you bring an umbrella, sunscreen, bug spray, and a light jacket. For some events, such as Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, the Indiana War Memorial, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, you will be doing a great deal of walking, so be sure to bring comfortable shoes.
